Add TV shows to Outlook Calendar

Outlook can subscribe to internet calendars. Add your tvcal feed and upcoming episodes appear next to your work schedule, updating automatically as air dates change.

The quick way (one click)

  1. In tvcal, tap “Subscribe in Calendar”.
  2. Choose Outlook Calendar for personal Outlook.com accounts, or Microsoft 365 for work and school accounts.
  3. Sign in if asked and confirm the subscription.

Outlook on the web and new Outlook for Windows

  1. Copy your tvcal calendar link.
  2. Open Calendar and select “Add calendar”.
  3. Choose “Subscribe from web”, paste the link, give it a name and colour, then select Import.

Classic Outlook for Windows

  1. Copy your tvcal calendar link.
  2. In Calendar, select Home → Add Calendar → From Internet.
  3. Paste the link, select OK, then Yes to subscribe.

Tips

  • “Subscribe from web” keeps the calendar updated. Uploading an .ics file creates a one-off copy that never changes.
  • Outlook refreshes internet calendars on its own schedule, which can take several hours.
  • A calendar added in Outlook on the web also appears in the Outlook mobile apps for the same account.

Outlook TV calendar FAQ

Does this work with Microsoft 365 work accounts?

Usually, yes. Some organisations block internet calendar subscriptions; if “Subscribe from web” is missing, ask your IT admin or use a personal account.

Why is my Outlook TV calendar not updating?

Outlook syncs subscribed calendars on its own schedule. Make sure you subscribed with a link rather than uploading a file, and give it a few hours.

How do I remove it?

In Outlook on the web, right-click the tvcal calendar in the left pane and choose Remove.
